capturing you on your most memorable days
Haley hired me to come along for a few weddings in 2015 to help her out. She was graceful enough to let me showcase a few images I shot while working with her.
This is a special one to me because this birth story belongs to the newest addition to my cousin’s family. Miss Harleigh arrived on Monday, December 28th weighing in at 8lbs 3oz.
Capturing the calm and intimate love between a couple before their new family blooms is one of my favorite parts about maternity sessions.
The bond between a mom and her first baby girl is something incomparable. I loved capturing baby Ella’s beautiful blue eyes and perfect fashion sense (thanks to mama Lauren).
Meet the Krist Family! I got to photograph this super cute family of four a few weeks ago on a not-so-cold December day.
I have met and photographed some of the most perfect couples and families, not just clients but people I can consider new friends. People who like my work and get my vision and let me run around with a camera in their face and actually go along with the crazy things I tell them to do. Here’s a recap of some my favorite shots from 2015.
I photographed as Lilly got to meet her baby sister, Eleanor, for the very first time. It made me try to think back to when my younger sisters were born, wishing I had more photographs of those moments.
We caught the last bit of sunlight with urban, autumn, surroundings and then headed inside for Slows BBQ Catering, live music by The Orbitsuns, craft beer and lots of good times. A true Detroit style wedding.
I photographed and I cried and it was such an unforgettable experience in the best way possible. The love in that room was unreal and I hope I captured a bit of that in my photographs.

"We cried when we saw the photos for the first time. Nothing will ever compare to those memories. We will cherish them always, our first precious family heirloom."
