I"m a long time resident of Detroit, Michigan (10+ years!) but my roots are from the suburbs. I know the ins and outs of the city but also appreciate a good state and metro park.
I live in a 90 year old home with my husband, 2 daughters, our dog and two cats. We love anything outdoor related and am always itching for our next road trip.
I'm a people person through and through and love a good chat with a nice stranger. Probably why I've been so drawn to photographing people over the years - it's my calling!
I have always loved telling a story through photographs. Since high school I've been obsessed with taking pictures. That obsession carried on into my college ambitions and I ended up with a BFA in Photography from the College For Creative Studies. Since graduating in 2011 I started freelancing and soon wedding and portrait photography became my calling.
Have you ever flipped through an old album of photos and been instantly brought back to that time? Or looked through old images of family member from generations ago and wondered their story? In this digital age it's so easy to forget the nostalgia of physical prints. If you're on the fence about getting new family photos, the answer is always yes and printing those photos to display in your home is always a must.
