I got to witness and document the birth of Ellis Annalise. It was such a magical experience, being my first birth story. I couldn’t be more happy when Kat reached out to me to talk about being there for the birth of their second kid. It is something I have wanted to photograph for a while and I was all sorts of excited (and nervous). I photographed and I cried and it was such an unforgettable experience in the best way possible.  The love in that room was unreal and I hope I captured a bit of that in my photographs.
