I honestly don’t think I seen a smile leave Nikki’s face this entire day. They got lucky with the rain clearing before their outdoor ceremony. Even their wedding party was all smiles and entire evening. As always, so grateful to be a part of days like this!
Couples who are 110% themselves throughout the whole wedding day are the absolutely best to photograph.
So many beautiful moments and it’s so clear to see how much Mike and Michelle are loved by their family and friends.
Love me a good winter wedding and everything about this day (minus the weirdly spring-like weather) had the perfect winter essence. I need to shoot more winter weddings, especially if they are as dreamy as this day was.
They kept it simple, with just immediate family, and got married at their families church in Ann Arbor. Portraits (and a surprise first dance!) at the Z-Lot in downtown Detroit followed and of course a few drinks at The Whiskey Parlor.
The sun was at perfect golden hour for their intimate ceremony and we caught some of the last rays of light on the roof top of an abandoned building on the farm, with a killer view of the city.
A wedding that was classy and elegant in all aspects but no emotion and love was lost in the process. These are the weddings I live for.
john + jennifer’s day consisted of pretty fall colors, personal details + of course a food truck.
Bill + Alle had the perfect fall day for their outdoor ceremony at the Hellenic Cultural Center.
This wedding was a special one for me. Andy and I went to college together for photography and when he asked me to capture his wedding day I was very honored and excited.
"We cried when we saw the photos for the first time. Nothing will ever compare to those memories. We will cherish them always, our first precious family heirloom."
