I had the privilege of photographing the Michaels family at the gorgeous Maybury State Park for their summer family photo session. Summer is always such a joyous time, filled with warmth and happiness, and I was excited to capture those precious moments for this beautiful family.

On the day of the shoot, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun was shining brightly, casting a golden glow over the picturesque surroundings.

We strolled through Maybury State Park, exploring the lush greenery and taking advantage of its stunning backdrop. The kids were bursting with energy, eagerly sharing stories and laughter. I knew that capturing their genuine joy and the love they had for one another would be an absolute pleasure.

I couldn’t help but reflect on the beauty of summer and the power that photography holds. It has this incredible ability to freeze a moment in time – a moment filled with love, laughter, and warmth. The Michaels family had allowed me to be a part of their journey, and I don’t think I could have asked for a more perfect summer family photo session.

Photographing families like the Michaels is a true privilege.
