Backyard weddings are always some of the best to photograph. I think it’s because they are so centered around family and friends and no emotions are lost in the unnecessary details of the day.
Cody and Rebecca’s wedding was so true to them with a romantic candle lit feel. I loved hanging around Detroit with this crew and celebrating so much love between Cody and Rebecca!
There was such a peacefulness in the air and nothing seemed rushed or stressed over. I love when wedding days seem easy and effortless, this was one of them.

The hugs at weddings, the mid laugh smiles, the kisses and the photos that give you all of the nostalgia for this past year. I’m so thankful that is my job and I can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store.
This was probably my favorite first look of the season (Tyler held his hand over his heart when he seen Nicole!!!! I mean, come on!)
Every little detail was thought of, every person (not just the b&g) had huge smiles on their faces and the day was just filled with so much joy.
Two of my favorite locations (Belle Isle and MOCAD), amazing weather, ice cream sandwiches and of course a couple madly in love.
