We started the session off at Jacoby’s Bar, where mike and shannon first met and ended the session at lincoln street art park.
Backyard weddings are always some of the best to photograph. I think it’s because they are so centered around family and friends and no emotions are lost in the unnecessary details of the day.
There was such a peacefulness in the air and nothing seemed rushed or stressed over. I love when wedding days seem easy and effortless, this was one of them.

there really isn’t much better then getting to come into client’s homes and capture them in their chill spots, doing their thing and being themselves.
Two of my favorite locations (Belle Isle and MOCAD), amazing weather, ice cream sandwiches and of course a couple madly in love.
This family of four is the sweetest to photograph. I loved spending a summer day with them at Kensington park.
It’s amazing to see how things come full circle, and I’m so thankful that this “job” has reconnected me with people from my past.
