Ella is one of those babies that is just so easy to photograph.

On the first official day of spring I met up with the Childress family on Belle Isle and took some family photos for them.

Don is the tiniest little man with the most perfect wrinkles and clearly a future baseball star.

These photos are proof that the weather doesn’t have to be perfect to get some memorable images.

This is a special one to me because this birth story belongs to the newest addition to my cousin’s family. Miss Harleigh arrived on Monday, December 28th weighing in at 8lbs 3oz.

The bond between a mom and her first baby girl is something incomparable. I loved capturing baby Ella’s beautiful blue eyes and perfect fashion sense (thanks to mama Lauren).
