I finally got the chance to meet baby Cecilia at a rainy afternoon on Belle Isle.

On a Thursday morning in Downtown Detroit, Josh and Jessica got married! Blue skies, warm sun and chilly breeze made for a perfect day for an elopement.

I got to know Ashley and Ryan a bit and I really felt like I had known them forever. I can’t wait until their wedding later this year.

On the first official day of spring I met up with the Childress family on Belle Isle and took some family photos for them.

A full day of beautiful ladies whom I am lucky enough to have hire me and then photograph them in such an intimate way.

I love photographing everyone but taking pictures of friends takes the cake. XO

We caught the last bit of sunlight with urban, autumn, surroundings and then headed inside for Slows BBQ Catering, live music by The Orbitsuns, craft beer and lots of good times. A true Detroit style wedding.
