Spent a rainy Sunday afternoon with Phil and Chelsea at Hines Park.

Greg and Kristin had a true Detroit style wedding day. Filled with a roof top ceremony on the Sky Deck at Detroit Opera House, hotel views of downtown and of course portraits around the city.

They got married a couple months ago in Georgia and decided to have a reception at Gloria’s childhood home.

“The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in.”

This wedding day is proof that you don’t need a huge wedding party or elaborate ceremony to have a beautiful wedding day.

These two together are pure magic. Also, every engagement session should be done immediately after a rain storm because the sky, the light and the slight wetness of the ground made for some pretty images.

When a couple emails you with the title “wedding photos for rock and rollers” you know it’s going to be a bomb wedding.
