I photographed as Lilly got to meet her baby sister, Eleanor, for the very first time. It made me try to think back to when my younger sisters were born, wishing I had more photographs of those moments.

We caught the last bit of sunlight with urban, autumn, surroundings and then headed inside for Slows BBQ Catering, live music by The Orbitsuns, craft beer and lots of good times. A true Detroit style wedding.

I photographed and I cried and it was such an unforgettable experience in the best way possible.  The love in that room was unreal and I hope I captured a bit of that in my photographs.

I just want to capture the beauty of women, owning their features and being comfortable in their skin. It’s not easy to get in front of the camera and show off your skin, but it’s totally worth it.
