Oh man, I’ve got to tell you about this super sweet wedding I shot last summer! It was one of those warm summer days where the sun was shining just right, and honestly, everything felt like something out of a movie. The bride and groom tied the knot at this beautiful church in downtown Ann Arbor, which had all that classic charm—think brick walls and stained glass. You could just feel the love radiating from the couple and all their family and friends. It was really special to witness, and you could tell there wasn’t a single dry eye in the room when they said, “I do.”
After the ceremony, everyone headed over to the Historic Bloom Barn for the reception, and let me tell you, this venue has the perfect rustic vibe! Picture wooden beams, fairy lights strung up everywhere, and greenery that just makes you want to step outside and take a deep breath of fresh summer air. We were lucky enough to have the golden hour light filter in just so, which made for some dreamy candid shots. The couple really embraced the day, and it was all about having fun—dancing, laughing, and just soaking in every moment.
There’s something truly magical about weddings that celebrate love in such a fun, authentic setting—especially when nature plays along so beautifully. It’s these moments that remind me why I love capturing life through my lens!
